The End, I think.

Hey guys.  So, here's the thing... I think I'm done.  With blogging.  I can't say precisely why.  It just feels like it's time to move on from it.  I may still pop in to check your blogs now and then.  It's not out of the question that I might update here again.  I just feel that the era of me being committed to a deep and meaningful relationship with blogging has organically drawn to a close.

It's not you, it's me.  I'm not leaving you for another hobby that I've been pursuing behind your back.  It's just... well... people change.

Thanks for showing up and sharing your lives and your lovely selves with me.  I wish you all the best, and your families and your furry friends.  Keep being awesome.

Love,
Spark.

Oh no, don't go!! Just have a break. I'll really miss you. :(

But if you have to go, I'll understand, you have to do what's right for you. But I hope you reconsider.

Enjoy your new and secret thingy, whatever it is.

Bloggers come and go ad infinitum; that's normal, that's it.

Nice to have met you Sparky. Best wishes, Phil

Thanks Joey. I'll still come to visit at your blog. :-)

Thanks Phil! Best wishes to you too.

Woah.

I can definitely understand the need to close one chapter and move on to the next. I certainly have contemplated that in the past few months. But, we have to do what is best for us.

I am certainly glad to have met you all those years ago and I definitely enjoyed both your visits to my blog and what you've written in the past several years or so.

Please keep in touch and stop by from time to time. You are a beautiful person.

George

George, I'll for sure stop by once in a while. You are a sweetie to compliment me so. (((hugs)))

You have no idea how much I'm going to miss you. You're without question one of the finest human beings I've ever had the pleasure to know, and I came to know you through this blog.

I will miss you. I will sorely miss you. And please know, you carry my love and prayers with you should you ever need them.

All the best to you in whatever you do, Spark. God bless you. :)

Your friend,
JDT

Well, shucks! I'm very behind of blog reading this week and wondered by your title, if that's what you meant. I've seen that here and there with other bloggers and I mourn that they are gone, as I will you and your blog. (I don't have the same energy for blogging that I used to - so I understand.)

I always like reading about your walks and weekend activities, and such. Thank you for coming by my blog for so many years - I'll miss you.

Aw, I'm super bummed. I was just getting to know (and really like) you.
But do what's right for you. Best wishes!

"I totally get it," she says coming out of lurkland. Even though I only find time to post a few times a year, I still walk around thinking, "I should post about this or that!" :-)

May your blog-writing time be taken up with tea & good books (or something equally relaxing)!

Aww I'll miss your posts but I understand. If you're not feeling it, no need to force it. I won't complain if you feel the urge to update one in a blue moon ;)

Whoa...wait a minute. I am behind in reading so I did not see this. I can accept you taking a sabbatical from blogging but not leaving totally. You are missing your Bubbe and your work strains you plus you have other creative endeavors, but just to walk away is not a good choice for those of us who love you.

Thanks, everyone, for being so sweet.

Granny Annie, you are right about me missing my Bubbe. I still have dreams where she has just died and I am with my family at a memorial. Plus I have other stuff going on... So maybe this will be a sabbatical, and not The Final End. We'll see. xo

Ah Spark, I still have dreams of my grandmother too who passed in August. Sending you internet hugs xoxo
